PRESS RELEASE: Proud night in Cork when Alma Jordan, AgriKids founder and #farmsafety advocate took home the top honours in the Network Ireland - Business Woman of the Year Awards, Emerging Business. It was the most hotly contested award of the night with 8 finalists battling from all over the country.
Alma's reaction was one of complete shock and disbelief as only 15 months ago she launched AgriKids and today is looking to start recruiting and growing the product line.
However as graciously received the accolade was, Alma is always quick to bring herself back down to earth with a bang. 'With already 14 deaths on our farms this year it is more important than ever that we keep up momentum and use nights such as this to remind us that we are making a difference that is being recognised and necessary - but the work is not done and so we must continue', said Alma, 'but for tonight, we will take time out to celebrate!'
