The Winners
We were delighted to partner with Ulster Bank and the HSENI for the Farm Safety Short Story Competition at this years' Balmoral Show. It was a wonderful week and we can say it has already been recognised as their most successful farm safety initiative yet! Schools all across Northern Ireland were asked to submit a 400 word short story based on the safety principles of Slurry, Animals, Falls and Equipment with one winner being selected from each to appear in a special edition of 'Tales from Riverside Farm'.
The winners:
Slurry: Madison Rafferty,12, Down High School
Animals: Cliodhna McTague, 4, St Patricks, Rasharkin.
Falls: Meredith Johnston, 7, Tempo Primary School
Equipment: Timothy Gilmore, 10, Gorran Primary School.
