AgriKids Testimonials

AgriKids has presented at numerous Zurich customer and farm partnerevents and agricultural shows and has developed a social media following increasing the campaign’s reach by linking in with Zurich’s existing social following. In June of this year the programme will reach a momentous milestone educating 20,000 children about the importance of farm safety, exceeding all targets agreed with Zurich. The AgriKids message is getting across to the young farmers of the future in a very inspiring way and has helped Zurich support farm safety on a national level meeting one of its key internal CorporateSocial Responsibility objectives. The reach of the campaign has exceeded all of Zurich’s expectations and they have confirmed their desire to extend and enhance the partnership even further from 2020.

As first responders to a farming accident, the importance of farm safety education is undeniable. Being able to create awareness on this topic using materials which are appropriately targeted and family friendly has provided myself and my colleagues with the necessary tools to engage one of the most vulnerable in our society while also empowering them with lifesaving knowledge to bring into their homes and educate other family members. This programme has contributed greatly to my work in farm and rural safety and I will continue to seek out AgriKids resources in our objectives to curb farm accidents and create greater awareness on the issue.

Great workshop and very informative and delivered in a style that the audience was 100% engaged. Fantastic work being done by Alma and her team, would highly recommend this workshop for any budding farmer.

My class are still talking about our visit to Balbriggan library where we met you! They asked me recently to re- read the copy of your new book you so kindly gave them. They were wondering if Mr Brambles has had any new adventures?

Alma delivered a wonderful, interactive session on farm safety in our school. She dealt with all the key messages re animals, farm machinery, slurry etc in a clear, engaging and unambiguous way. Her AgriKids message will undoubtedly save lives!

We have two wonderful zoom sessions. They were delighted with the Q and A. It was brilliant for a small school like ours. the worksheets provided are an excellent resource to consolidate learning. They simply loved the online programme. I’d say it was the highlight of the year for many in my class.

I just want to thank you very much for the excellent webinar today. My 3rd and 4th really enjoyed it and learned so much from it. I've a few in my class who would go farming tomorrow if they could! Being from a farming background myself I appreciate the importance of education around farm safety. We used the work sheet afterwards. It was lovely to see the children (some of whom would usually be reluctant to speak up) so interested and participating so much in our discussion about all we saw and learned about safety on the farm.
